APRIL 6TH 2006 - Giz will be performing live tonight as a special guest of Caloon Saloon. She will sing some gospel classics with the Montreal-based folk band. She was given the stage name of Sister Caloon by her fellow band members. Thursday April 6th at Inspecteur-Épingle, corner St-Hubert and Duluth in Montreal. |

APRIL 5TH 2006 - The recording of the new album is going really well. 9 songs are in progress, the three others will be started shortly as well. Joey, Da Vine, Sven and Fat Bass finished recording The Race and Deux Heure et Quart rue Elgin last Sunday and it sounds great, despite the fact that Joey blew his amplifier in studio. The smell of the burnt lamp lasted for a while in the studio. He ended up using his other amp, which was much smaller but gave him a nice natural distortion when he turned up the volume. |

MARCH 20th 2006 - Round 2 of Emergenza took place on Friday March 20th at Cafe Campus. DUBB was a contestant as well as 6 other bands. The band's performance was a success and DUBB finished in first place with 101 votes, 30 votes better than 2nd place. Watch for the announcement of round three on this website. |
